Background

Lucy began working as a paralegal with Nicholes Family Lawyers in 2006 while completing her university studies, and completed her Articles with Nicholes after graduating in 2009.  Lucy's particular interest is in complex children's cases, including child abduction and special medical procedure matters.

Having graduated with first class honours, Lucy brings strong research and writing skills to NFL's file and pro bono work.  Lucy also enjoys working on tasks relating to professional development and policy reform, such as editing the Nicholes Newsletter and contributing to journal articles.

Lucy’s interest in law is rooted in her passion for social justice, which she also pursues by volunteering with various organisations and a community legal centre.
